Due to the explosion in popularity and complete overcrowding of the official surfing beaches, combined with the fact that there are 2 full time surfing schools occupying the only 2 full time surfing beaches... 

   We are collecting signatures to present to the Long Beach City Council in an effort to open more beaches for surfing during the summer months. 

We ( the citizens and visitors of the City of Long Beach ) feel it is not only unfair and dangerous

to box surfers into such a limited official area for permitted surfing but it is discriminatory as well.

   We propose opening every other beach for swimming and every other beach for surfing.  This is a fair system and allows every resident and visitor alike the opportunity to enjoy "FULL BEACH ACCESS"
